As a child my father beat me and hit my mother.

He had anger management issues. 

My mom would always say if someone asked you what happened just say you fell. This went on until 9th grade. I was in my dream high school, made varsity cheer leading, and liked by the coolest boy in the school. 

In Spanish class the teacher saw a mark and asked me what happened. I told her the truth because that morning my dad choked my mom so bad I thought I saw a death bubble coming out of her mouth. 

Everything changed. 

I no longer went to my dream school......but I had my life and from that came everything ...
